Russia is ready to extradite ransomware spreading criminals to the United States of America, but only if the same reaction is assured by Biden-led Nation. Speaking to a reporter of State TV ahead of the Geneva Summit to be held on June 14th,2021, Vladimir Putin hinted that his nation plans to restore personal contacts under the Biden administration that were last seen by Czarist Russia in 1893.
The entire last month, most of the US Media speculated that the cyberattacks launched on JBS Meat Producer and Colonial Pipeline were funded by the Russian Intelligence.
US President Joe Biden reacted sharply to this news and stated that he has his intention to speak to his Russian counterpart on this issue behind closed doors. An open discussion before the media in this regard could cause embarrassment to either party as some enthusiastic journalists might find the time ripe to pull the legs of leaders heading the two powerful nations.
Earlier White House confirmed the news and the words turned true when Putin threw a hint to the world that his nation will not turn back against any effort made by America to improve the relationship between the two nations.
Note- In December last year, Cybersecurity firm FireEye revealed to the world that a hacking group funded by Russian intelligence was involved in the hack on the servers of Orion software owned by SolarWinds. The hack was devastating as it impacted over 33,000 companies that also involved federal US agencies like the Pentagon, Department of Homeland Security, The State Department of Energy, the National Nuclear Security Administration, and the Treasury- along with some private entities such as Microsoft, Cisco, Delloite, Intel and some healthcare and educational institutions.
