Adobe accepts AI generated artwork

Adobe, the business owner of PhotoShop, has made it official that it will start accepting AI generated artwork on its Stock Photo platform, provided users follow its revised policies. Therefore, users can submit their finished artwork generated by the technology of Artificial Intelligence, provided they abide by the copyright infringement clauses to the core.

But here comes an update that those submitting images must not flood the service platform with identical images and illustrations and must provide substantial evidence claiming their ownership over the artwork.

Thus, with the latest permit, the American multinational computer software offering company has given a free hand to creators who can showcase their genuine art generating skills with no hiccups, unlike Getty, that prohibited such images from popping up on its website, after September, 2022.

NOTE 1- AI based artwork can be generated in three ways: one by generating images by analyzing mathematical patterns, two by feeding machine learning algorithms that start controlling the brushstrokes and the ink fillers. Three, by using text-to-image models via programs.

NOTE 2- Deepfakes are a result of Synthetic Media and can be termed as images generated by AI. As the production, manipulation and modification of information is conducted in an automated way, by using certain ML algorithms.

NOTE 3- Some companies in Japan that are involved in the business of robotics can generate prototypes that can generate millions of images over just seven days. Video game art is also a produce of such technology as it involves the next level of designing.
