ARLINGTON, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–SCYTHE, a leader in adversarial emulation and breach and attack simulation, today announced that James “Jim” Webster has been appointed as Director of Federal Research and Development efforts. Webster will pursue and recommend ways SCYTHE can secure federal funding to advance the company’s R&D efforts.
“Jim has more than 30 years as a senior information assurance professional developing effective security programs that operate in concert with, and not against, organizational goals,” said Bryson Bort, CEO and founder, SCYTHE. “During the past 10 years, Jim served as the CISO of a large defense contractor building an information assurance program from the ground up.
