T Mobile to offer data priority services to first responders

After analyzing many situations like the Uvalde Texas Shooting attack that killed 19 people including 17 children and 2 adults(teachers) T Mobile has come up with a new data priority strategy applicable to all first responders across the United States.

The telecom company announced that it will offer a free network upgrade to all those people acting as first responders, all for free. Thus, with the latest announcement, the telecom firm will be the only wireless carrier to add data priority in collaboration with the CISA and DHS.

Usually, the smart phones given to first responders should never face troubles such as network congestion, limited connectivity, signal fall, and speed inconsistencies.

T-Mobile is offering Wireless Priority Service (WPS) to all the 1st responders by giving a minimum requirement of 512kbps network speed, an automatic network upgrade in case the service is down. And reallocation of resources in areas where the mobile service of T-Mobile is unavailable.

And mind you, all these services will be streamlined on the 5G network, a game changing internet technology that will be at fast speed, high capacity and low latency.

NOTE- T-Mobile is America’s first 5G service that offers coverage to over 315 million people within over 1.38 million square miles. It has so far offered 5G network coverage to 225 million in 2022 and plans to connect over 300 million people by 2023.
