China is using Artificial Intelligence technology for destruction and the latest developments stand as the best example to explain it in deep. Beijing has started using an AI developed Warship design program that enables the technical guys draw a complex design of a warship in just 12-15 hours, unlike 16 months of hardship, seen without the software indulgence.
Thus, with such developments propelled by AI tech, China might be foreseeing its future, as a topper in naval growth, dreaming of being technologically ahead of the United States in near-time.
An update published in the Journal Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems of China confirmed that its latest AI designer software completed the task of designing a warship design in just a few hours with 100% accuracy.
Earlier, any design engineer used to take at least a year to design the warship, ammunition operations, electrical connections, and such.
But with the latest tech, China’s Ship Design and Research Center easily designed a complex design with ease and within hours. Senior engineer Luo Wei said that the program is ready to be employed for bulk operations of China’s warship building and might be used to improve the naval fleet in sheer size and capacity.
Eventually, the point to prove is that when robots are being employed to create and produce warships, it leads to more destruction. A sophistication-driven warship embossed with innovation will be able to take down the world in no time.
China’s People’s Liberation Army Navy is intending to create 34 such ships by the same time next year and is interested in adding more to the 340 fleets of warships.
What if the Xi Jinping-led nation starts employing AI robots, replacing human fighting machines on the battlefield?
Perhaps it’s high time for western nations to draft an AI usage treaty, in line with the one that stops the usage of nuclear power for destruction.
