For the first time, US President Donald Trump took a direct dig at Google for manipulating 2016 Poll results in favor of Hillary Clinton.
Revealing some details from the study made by Robert Epstein, the president said that his victory was bigger than thought as the tech giant depicted 2.5 million votes of Clinton as 16 million favoring the Democratic Presidential Candidature in the 2016 US Elections.
He also questioned the reports jointly submitted by the CIA and FBI in Jan’17 alleging Russian influence on the 2016 elections.
The 45th President with great anguish felt that the fed should sue Google and all the tech and media companies which accused it of rigging the 2016 US polls.
For those who are not aware of Robert Epstein and his achievements, here’s a bit of enlightenment.
Epstein is a researcher from the California based American Institute for Behavioral Research and Technology. He was a staunch supporter of Clinton who testified before the Senate last year that Google was found guilty of manipulating the election results in favor of Ms. Clinton. His report has been circulating in the media since Nov’16.
Google CEO Sundar Pichai was asked about Epstein’s work last year and he said that the research was debunked as the study methodology was questionable.
Mr. Pichai stressed on the fact that his company never manipulates any search results to play with political sentiments. However, the CEO of the web search giant remained silent on the issue that how some disrespecting keywords were ranking Donald Trump’s photo in the company’s 1st-page search results.
Note- All these days we have read about media speculations detailing Russian Influence on 2016 election results through cyber attacks. Now, the latest revelation made by Trump suggests something else which may or might not be proved as truth shortly.
