Artificial Intelligence to help identify Royal Wedding Guests

We all know by now that Sky News will be the exclusive broadcaster of the Royal Wedding which will take place in Britain on May 19th this year.

But do you know that the news channel is all set to use Artificial Intelligence integrated with Facial Recognition to identify the guests attending the wedding of Prince Harry & Meghan Markle?

Well, the news is out that Sky News will be teaming up with Amazon Web Services(AWS) to offer ‘Who’s Who Live’ during the live-streaming of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Nuptials.

Means details such as who is wearing what? Who is talking to Prince William and whats about to come will be available to viewers of Sky News in advance.

Yes, Sky News of UK, in association with AWS and its partners GreyMeta and UI Centric will be rolling out a new feature to help onlookers identify guests as soon as they enter the St. George’s Chapel in Windsor.

As per the sources reporting to Cybersecurity Insiders, the coverage will start at 9 am on Saturday on May 19th and the filming process will take place until the nuptial ceremony gets over.

Around 100 cameras, 10 technical staff, 10 Satellite uplinks and 27km cabling will be used to cover the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. 22 separate UHF radio communication channels will be pressed into service to cover the event for the radio listeners.

Sky News has declared that the details of the guests when on camera can be viewed by the Sky Q viewers with the help of Amazon Recognition software, a cloud-based software which analyzes and displays info in sync with Machine Learning technology.

This offers Royal Fans great insights into the Royal Wedding making the live telecast a classic experience filled with exuberance.

But the catch is that the live streaming available in 4K resolution will only be available to those users who have Sky Q 2TB box and a Sky Q Multi-screen subscription.

Among the St. George Chapel invites names such as Bollywood turned British Television Actress Priyanka Chopra, Tennis Sensation Serena Williams, Misha Noo, Jessica Mulroney, Sarah Rafferty, Patrick J Adams and Gabriel Macht are trending on top.

Miss Markle will arrive at the wedding venue in a limousine and the newlywed couple will be leaving the chapel in a carriage.

Details regarding the arrival of the Queen of Britain-Elizabeth II, Prince William, Catherine Middleton, Prince George and his two siblings(Prince Charlotte and Prince Louis) are kept under wraps due to security reasons.

So, all you Royal Fans, get ready for the big day.
