If you have a penchant to vent your anger related to any topic online then it’s better you change your attitude before it’s too late. That’s because Google has made a secret deal with tech companies to keep an eye on what their users are posting.
According to Google’s 85-page document suggesting to the tech giants, the web search giant is making efforts to erode the free speech of online users. The document clearly specifies that hate speeches, people venting their frustrations against individuals, groups or companies must be cyber policed.
Although, the internet juggernaut that it plans to curb cyber harassment in this way, internet rights advocates say that the California based giant wants to dictate people in near future.
Note- As we all started to depend on Google for our daily needs (like weather reporting, news say, NFL score, and maps) may be the company is in a thinking to start monopolizing its services to put control on its users.
While a Google executive who likes to stay anonymous supports the deed of his company as a way to make comments section safer and more civil for all users, some of the employees of the same company say that it puts a block on “Freedom of Speech”.
Racism, hate speech, trolling and harassment is also mentioned in the extensive report.
Currently, only the top executives are aware of this secret project which is happening behind the screens.
