China steals data from Google Servers

Google services like YouTube, Gmail, Calendar were disrupted on Monday this week because of a technical issue in the storage platform of the web search giant. However, some media sources speculate that the cause for disruption was a cyber attack launched on the servers of internet juggernaut by China.

Will Geddes, one of the famous security professionals from London and CEO of International Corporate Group said that its possible for the hackers to breach into any corporate network these days. And there is a high probability that the recent digital disruption at the Google headquarters was because of a highly sophisticated cyber attack launched to sabotage emails services accessed by the federal agencies.

Will proved his point by recollecting the evidence that Google was hit by a digital disruption in the past by the People’s Liberation Army (PLA).

Historically, the Sundar Pichai led company was hit by a cyber incident in mid-2009 and it was disclosed formally by the Alphabet Inc subsidiary in 2010 through a blog post. The article also highlighted the fact that intellectual property stolen from the servers of Gmail.

The company said that the attack was launched just to steal the content from the Gmail accounts owned by Chinese human rights activists. But later the statement was changed and said that the high level inquiry was still in progress and so nothing concrete has been revealed in the incident.

Thence, there is no evidence that Google was recently hit by a cyber attack. But there is enough evidence to prove that no company in this world is secure from prying eyes and the Mountain View based company is no exception.
