Data of over 2 million members of Communist Party China leaked in Cyber Attack

An Australian media outlet revealed some startling facts yesterday related to members of Communist Party of China(CPC). The article now featured in the Economic Times claims that sensitive information related to two million members from CPC that includes party position, birth date, national ID number and ethnicity and the companies they were employed across the world are available as an information trove on a server that was exposed to hackers in 2016.

How the information reached the scribes of The Australian Newspaper is yet to be revealed. But information is out that some members of CPC are now found holding top positions in many of the pharmaceutical companies that are operating across the world and are involved in the R & D of COVID-19 Vaccine.

Cybersecurity Insiders has learnt that the now data was siphoned from a Shanghai server holding information about the members of the Communist Party of China in 2016.

The report emphasized on the fact that the members who are holding dignitary positions on government and senior political organizations in United States and UK along with Australia were ‘not’ found spying for the Chinese government or to any espionage related activity.

Note- Some members of CPC are found working as Clerks, specialists, advisers and Executive Assistants in renowned companies like HSBC, Volkswagen, Boeing, AstraZeneca and Pfizer that is into the development of vaccine for corona virus
