Mobile Security Company Zimperium acquires WhiteCryption

Zimperium, a globally recognized mobile security firm has made it official that it is going to acquire application security company whiteCryption for an undisclosed amount. The details of the deal are kept under wraps. But highly placed sources report that ZIMPERIUM was in talks with InterTrust, the previous owner of whiteCryption since October 2020 and the deal took place after a delay because of the Corona Virus propelled business slowdown.

whiteCryption offers advanced application shielding and cryptographic protection technology that will now be integrated into the Zimperium’s Mobile Application Protection Suite (MAPS) that will help create world’s most advanced mobile application protection solution. Thus, the Mobile Security pioneer will generate enterprise security apps that are resistant to attacks.

Precisely, MAPS offers app scanning, app shielding, runtime protection, and protection of sensitive cryptographic keys in one centralized platform. Hence, customer using the solution will get a centralized management platform that can offer real-time threat visibility and protect the networks from all kinds of cyber risks proactively.

A recent survey conducted by Cisco has found that the year 2025 will witness the usage of over 3.4 billion mobile and IoT devices. And it will become crucial for companies and users to protect their devices from hackers.
